Lex

The Lex is a Japanese leaf shutter, made in the late 1930s and early 1940s by Mars. It gives T, B, 5–200 speeds, has no self-timer and is intended for use with a body release. The shutter plate is inscribed Mars Tokyo at the top, Lex at the bottom and has metal stripes on both sides of the lens.
The Lex has been observed on the Weha Six and on the Loyal.[1] It was also offered on the Semi Rosen III and on the Roavic.[2]
