The Peter (ピーター) are Japanese 6.5×9cm plate folders distributed in the mid-1930s by Kikōdō, and about which almost nothing is known. It is briefly mentioned in Lewis as the "New Peter", a daimeishi (6.5×9cm) hand camera.[1] An advertisement in the December 1935 issue of Photo Times says that Kikōdō was the distributor of the Super, Kinka and Peter cameras (ピーターカメラ発売元).[2] One source says that the manufacturer was Yamamoto Shashinki Kōsakusho, but this is unconfirmed.[3]
