Konica FM
From Camerapedia.org
(Image rights)The Konica FM was the last of the Bayonet Mount I (aka "Early" or "F-Mount") models, introduced in 1964. The next Konica, the Auto-Relfex, would have a larger diameter bayonet mount allowing the linkage for aperture control to be completely enclosed within it.
It might be the first Japanese 35mm SLR to have a cross-coupled, CdS-based meter built in. It uses a single 625 mercury cell for power (1.3V).
The FM continues use of the Copal Square shutter, with the same specifications as the FP and FS models.
By the time the FM was being manufactured, four years into SLR production, Konishiroku was beginning to hit is stride in camera production. The FM are wonderful handling cameras, although few can be found wiht accurate, working light meters. That's actually not a big deal, though, since the camera is entirely usable without the meter anyway.
